Biography
Nancye R. Jones was born in Springfield, Massachusetts but has spent most of her life in Florida. She graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1973 and continued on to Daytona Beach Community College and then the University of Florida majoring in Accounting and receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. Nancye then went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina in 1979. Nancye's vast experience comes from a long legal career with the City of Daytona Beach and Volusia County where she defended the County in all civil lawsuits at the state and federal level, including appeals to higher courts, and all workers compensation claims. Her practice areas include Personal Injury, Workers Compensation and Employment Law. She enjoys spending time with family and traveling. Ms. Jones is a member of the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, the Workers Compensation Association and she has received the preeminent “AV” rating from Martindale Hubble for his excellence in legal ability and ethical standards.
