Lori Sandman is an attorney practicing transactional, intellectual property, alternative dispute resolution and limited general practice law in Florida and in Pennsylvania. She is licensed to practice patent law through the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Additionally, she has been admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Sandman is also licensed and registered to practice in Florida.
In addition to the private practice of law, Ms. Sandman is an Adjunct Professor at Florida Coastal School of Law and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She currently teaches transactional law, business law and patent law.
Ms. Sandman received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Montana School of Law in Missoula. She is the recipient of the American Bar Association Award for Excellence in the study of Intellectual Property Law and the Outstanding Student in International Law Award from the University of Montana. Ms. Sandman also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Vermont.
Ms. Sandman is certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Collaborative Law Practice (PACP), and has considerable experience working as a court approved mediator and arbitrator in Berks County, Pennsylvania. She is also certified by the Florida Supreme Court for civil/circuit mediation. She has an extensive background and training in environmental and natural resources management, as well as practical and academic experience in molecular biology and biochemistry.
